This week's question comes from Aliyah who blogs at Des Absurdités:
"What book are you most looking forward to seeing published in 2011? Why are you anticipating that book?"
Well, this is a hard one. The one book that I absolutely cannot wait for is the next installment in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. But, alas, I will have to wait another couple of years for that one, since it takes her about three years to write one. However, her latest Lord John book will be coming out this year and that is as close to hunky highlander, Jamie Fraser, as I'm going to get...so I'll take it! How about you? What book are you waiting for this year?
This was a rather hard one to answer this week. So naturally I might have "cheated" and listed 3. ;)

I couldn't wait 3 years for a new book o.o or maybe I could, its not like readers have a choice. I can definitely see why you're anticipating that one. I haven't read any books in that series.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I look forward to sharing some great books and reviews with you! I agree with you about having to have romance in the historical... while I usually don't read historical romance, I always want my historical fiction novels to have some element of romance.
All this being said, I see you are reading Julia Quinn! She is a fun author. It's in His Kiss is awaiting me on my shelf; I will be looking forward to your review!
Old follower here! Happy Friday! Just hopping through!

Is the Outlander series historical fiction? I like Julia Quinn and Lisa Kleypas and a few others, but its been a while since I've read that genre.
ReplyDeleteMaybe its time for a revisit :)
I actually had trouble finding books for '11 as several huge novels are out in 2012.
